1300% Increase Makes Canada World Leader In Euthanasia Deaths

"Under one federal government, Canada’s medical regime has been utterly transformed, masked by misleading acronyms, false predictions and hidden data."

“Canadians have often heard Prime Minister Justin Trudeau speak of Sir Wilfrid Laurier’s ‘sunny ways’ – a guiding philosophy that both men share."

"On October 19, 2015, they sent a clear message: it was time for a government with a positive, optimistic, and hopeful vision for Canada."

To state that "things didn't work out that way" reaches far beyond the parameters of a trite proclamation. In terms of PM Trudeau's "sunny ways" edict, nothing can be further from the truth. Avoiding anecdotal evidence, we focus in on one particular "bug" in the Liberal government system:

A study, entitled “From Exceptional to Routine: The Rise of Euthanasia in Canada,” was released this past week. The shift from exceptional to routine refers to the practice of euthanasia, which has exploded from 1,018 deaths nationally in 2016 to 13,241 in 2022, the last year for which data are available."

From "sunny ways" to the world's number one nation in terms of per-capita "assisted" dying. Let's hear it for woke progressives, medical practitioners, big pharma, and the government that legislates in their favour.

After which we stumble upon a salient fact: media won't position it this way, but in reality, Justin Trudeau is the "founder" of Euthanasia in Canada.

In June 2016, the Canadian Parliament passed federal legislation that allows eligible adults in Canada to request medical assistance in dying. At the time, Trudeau had been prime minister for less than eight months.

The recently-released "Rise in Euthanasia In Canada" report, dated August 7th, 2024, sheds light on the malevolent nature of Canada's MAiD regime:

“Contrary to repeated official statements by the Government of Canada, Canadian 'medical assistance in dying' (MAiD) is the world’s fastest-growing assisted-dying program.”

A plethora of related impact colours our commentary. Among the most relevant is the issue of which segment of our society most indulge in MAiD procedures. The dynamic is similar to that of abortion in Canada. We know the numbers[80,000-100,000 annually], yet are offered no insight into "community orientation."

Therefore, guesswork is the only option. Suffice to say that, beneath the breath of media, Euthanasia and abortion are a decidedly "Old Stock" Canadian affair. Common sense citizens would be hard-pressed to conclude that new arrivals from China, India, Iran, Pakistan and other leading source nations for immigration to our country are receiving fresh passports, only to sign up for assisted death shortly thereafter.

Thinking back to systemic "citizen removal" of 20th century history adds to the ominous nature of Euthanasia policy in Canada.

For CAP, this cannot be properly addressed without placing Canada in the context of another social construct eschewed by legacy media. This we call Justin Trudeau's "Woke Revolution."

Abortion, Euthanasia, Transgenderism. We bring together the "leftist ties that bind." In general terms, which identifiable communities most indulge in these demographic depleting activities? Dollars-to-Tim-Horton-donuts the correct answer is Anglophone Canadians.

Hear ye, Hear ye: Justin Trudeau and his Liberal government transition from sunny ways to systemic citizen removal. Canadian media think it fine-and-dandy, and advance the cause as funded by government.

What has Canada become? It’s no stretch to say that the more difficult life is, the more citizens will turn to Euthanasia. After nine years of Trudeau, the outcome is obvious. Incrementally broadening MAiD parameters as years pass, the Liberals add mental health issues to the agenda, in addition to lowering minimum age requirements.

Under the Nazi regime, the categories of Euthanasia patients were:

Those suffering from schizophrenia, epilepsy, dementia, encephalitis, and other chronic psychiatric or neurological disorders.

“As of March 17th, 2021, the law[Canada] no longer requires a person’s natural death to be reasonably foreseeable as an eligibility criterion for MAID.”

Under the Nazi regime, "Euthanasia planners quickly envisioned extending the killing program to adult disabled patients living in institutional settings."

Canada:

“Research on assisted dying practices indicates that 74%–88% of persons who opt for assisted dying also receive hospice or palliative care services.”

Nazi:

"In the autumn of 1939, Adolf Hitler signed a secret authorization in order to protect participating physicians, medical staff, and administrators from prosecution."

Canada:

"These[medical practitioners in Canada] people can assist in the process without being charged under criminal law."

We come to understand what has not once been elucidated by the press in Canada. Parallels with communist and totalitarian societies of the past abound.

“Changing attitudes toward the value of individual life cleared a path for the single most influential document in Nazi attitudes toward the disabled—a pamphlet entitled 'The Permission to Destroy Life Unworthy of Life,' published in 1920.”

As in, a precursor to what transpired during WW2. On this basis, one has to wonder where the Euthanasia regime fostered by the Liberal government of Canada will lead.
