Multiculturalism’s Silent Role In Canada’s Woke Revolution
There is no policy in Canada so impactful, and at the same time so under-explored as multiculturalism.
It is with overwhelming perplexity that the patriot community address the subject of Multiculturalism in Canada. Regardless of political inclination, few can argue with the following premise:
There is no policy in Canada so impactful, and at the same time so under-explored as multiculturalism. Introduced by ex-Liberal Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau in 1971, multicultural ideology is nation-transforming in its impact.
Our country existed for over a century without it. Previous to the early 1970’s, Canada maintained a bi-cultural English & French identity. Pierre Trudeau is responsible for the cancellation of 100 years of Canadian cultural tradition.
There has never been an in-depth public analysis of the policy’s impact. No media analysis has come forth. Nor have our educational institutions debated the pros and cons of institutionalized “diversity.”
Why is it that multiculturalism maintains a distinct status as an untouchable policy? What makes it unique in this regard? Where did the ideology come from?
Government policy doesn’t arrive from nowhere. Established social policies have historical roots. Political science exists to elucidate the origins of political movements.
Take communism as an example. Our academic world teaches that its founder is Karl Marx. His theories didn’t come from nowhere. Political philosophers such as Hegel and Feuerbach served as inspiration for Marx’s nascent communism.
Democratic theory can be traced back to Ancient Greece. In the 18th century, Jean Jacques Rousseau and the enlightenment in France served at a catalyst for the world’s first Republic, a precursor to modern-day democracy.
Where did Multiculturalism come from? Who invented it? Its etymology delivers nebulous explanations. A Google search on the phrase “when did multiculturalism start in the world” brings forth the following:
“Canada’s federal multiculturalism policy was adopted in 1971 by Pierre Trudeau’s Liberal government.”
What a revelation. The concept is uniquely Canadian. Perhaps this is why our country is possibly the only nation on earth that maintains legislated multicultural policy.
Thank the high heavens that media laid all this out for Canadians to understand. Here we are thinking that the Multicult ethos is as ubiquitous as snow in Nunavut.
The conclusion is false. The United States, Britain, France – all maintain diversity of peoples. Not one of them have multiculturalism written into law. Why has this never been explained by media?
If media are not obliged to explain the roots of systemic diversity, they have no obligation to speak of its social impact. Not for today– not for the future.
When combined with immigration policy– both products of Pierre Trudeau’s prototype globalism– the picture becomes clear. Neither policy has any form of “ceiling.”
Multiculturalism is free to roll forever. There exists no demarcation to verify a point of success. Fast-forward to 2044, and witness the social inversion. Now, it is Anglophones who are a minority. No wonder CBC never speak a word about the future of our country.
As Canada’s demography is transformed inside-out, so too is our nation’s power structure. According to “woke liberalism,” representation in the political world must reflect the ethnic make-up of society. It doesn’t take Albert Einstein to deduce the results.
There you have it, a comprehensive transformation of Canadian society. Apart from immigration, Pierre Trudeau’s multiculturalism is the primary driver.
Throughout the process, not single sentence on the topic is printed in media. There are no academic debates. Government breathe not a word regarding the transformation.
A quiet revolution it is. It is in every way a post-modern development. Thus it is that Pierre Trudeau gave birth to Canada’s Silent Revolution. Today, one may refer to it as a Woke Revolution-– as fulfilled by another family member, current PM Justin Trudeau.
