Study In Contrast: German, Islamic Heritage Months In Canada
Heritage has little if anything to do with a massive promotion of Heritage Months in Canada.
Canada is a country awash in "Heritage Month" celebrations. There's so many that it wouldn't be surprising if the Liberal government of Canada added a 13th month to our calendar year to accommodate further expansion.
There's Black History Month, Asian Heritage Month, along with similar tributes to Sikh, Hindu and Indigenous communities. Holy Cow-- Canada's hyper-political correctness even allows for a Bangladesh and Tamil History Months.
In contrast, we point to an additional community whose predecessors were the most influential of all: Anglo-British immigrants to Canada. From these roots sprang forth our fundamentals: democracy, jurisprudence, legislative process, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, habeas corpus, rule-of-law, and other staples of western democratic governance.
Days dedicated to Anglophone-Canadian heritage? Nothing. Not a single form of tribute or official statement of recognition exists for the historical community which most profoundly impacted Canadian heritage and national identity.
Within this structure, a wonderful microcosm can be discovered. Not by mainstream media, of course, but rather by individuals who care to take time to thoroughly research the issue.
In Canada, the month of October officially recognises two ethnic communities with heritage designations. One is German, the other Islamic. CAP decided to do a basic web search to discover the degree of acknowledgement for both.
First, German Heritage Month. Liberal Minister of Diversity and Inclusion made an official public statement. End of acknowledgement.
According to a 2016 census, there are 3,322,405 Canadians with full or partial German ancestry. By 1871, nearly 55% of the population of Waterloo County had German origins.
“Between 1945 and 1994, some 400,000 German-speaking immigrants arrived in Canada, approximately 270,000 of these arrived by the early 1960s.”
Acknowledgement by way of legacy media amounts to a grand total of nothing.
Islamic Heritage Month:
Simply put, it's all over media pages in Canada. Parliamentary Secretary of British Columbia has acknowledged the "celebration," along with Minister of Diversity, Liberal MP for Brampton, Ontario Kamal Khera.
Media articles exist from coast-to-coast. Waterloo, Kingston, Hamilton and dozens of others. In North York, the Aga Khan Museum is promoting the event. From Halifax to Victoria B.C. government and media are aligned in dedication to Islamic History Month.
"The first recorded presence of Muslim communities in Canada dates back to the state formation period in the 1860s. Islam is now considered to be the most declared religion after Christianity, with flourishing and expansive religious communities across Canada."
According to the Canadian Census of 1971, there were 33,000 Muslims in Canada. German-Canadians amounted to approximately 700,000 citizens.
A study in contrasts? Of course it is. What this dynamic says about Canadian society is worthy of understanding for its inherent bias and institutional privilege.
CAP will state what few others dare. In terms of national heritage, the religion of Islam played no role in the development of Canadian society. It's not an insult, it's the truth.
If contribution to the historical development of Canada-- known as heritage-- was the defining factor in ethnic community representation, the inverse of the current situation would be the standard. German heritage is ten times that of Islamic heritage, whose community in the year 1870 amounted to no more than a dozen members from the Muslim faith.
Upon which Cultural Action Party offer up a theory. Heritage has nothing to do with designation of historical recognition efforts. What really counts is the future, of which, in addition to Sikhism, Islamic Canada will be front-and-centre in society.
PM Justin Trudeau knows this. Minister of Diversity Kamal Khera as well. Heck, the publisher and editors of major news outlet are likely aware. Those who aren't aware comprise 99% of our population, for good reason.
Canada's transformation from a European-based democracy to international socialist society is currently in the making. Many "Old Stock" Canadians will not be impressed, so government instruct media to never speak of the future of our country.
Islamic Heritage Month has nothing to do with the past, and everything to do with the future. European-based heritage has everything to do with the past, and nothing to do with the future. This piece of reality remains fundamental to Canada's plethora of history and heritage months.
Thus rendering the celebrations an exercise in propaganda, as opposed to concrete historical fact. A re-writing of history to suit the purveyors of Canada's post-modern religion, "Liberal Wokism."
That this dynamic is a replication of Marxist revolutionary tactics is likely never to be understood by mainstream society. Then again, at the rate of attrition advanced by our Liberal government its likely mainstream society will one day disappear from Canada altogether.
Many thanks to the author !
The following paragraph from the article is word-for-word enlightening.

My inspiration from this article
Canada's soul is being invaded, Canada's foundations are being subverted. The catastrophe of the centralised state will come gradually like a frog in warm water.
My Thoughts
I have sixty years of life experience in a centralised state and my life experience can provide support for the views of the author of this article.
The cut and thrust of living in a centralised state is beyond the comprehension of those in the free world. Imagine why the many rich and social elites in the centralised countries would give up their privileged social status and immigrate to Canada to be an ordinary member of the public.
