Woke Canada Demand Extra Days Off– Because Employees Are Black
Is this social equality, or is it racism?
Critical Race Theory, the latest in an arsenal of weaponry targeting non-racialized Canadians, has kicked their reverse-racist credo into high gear.
Based purely on the issue of race, a Canadian employment union has tabled their version of a bid for social equality. Because employees are black, they are to enjoy two extra days off beyond what is allotted to white employees.
“The motion follows an apology by Ontario government deputy ministers earlier this year for the continued prevalence of anti-black racism in the workplace.”
In a separate case, a school board in Ontario recently implemented “weighted voting” — a situation where non-white members’ votes count for more than their white colleagues.
Bringing about a most pertinent question: is this equality, or is it racism? In Canada, one can be certain a question of this nature will never be posited by media. Nor will they entertain the idea of whether “progressive” measures such as these deliver a benefit to society.
At the heart of the movement– one which has silently crept into the Canadian public education system– lies a fundamental paradox: these woke revolutionists are working to eliminate racism by promoting racism.
On a historical level, we recognise a pattern. In the 19th century, racial division was endemic in society. In the mid-20th century, the North American civil rights movement spearheaded an agenda dedicated to social equality among all ethnicities.
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
Today, in the early 21st century, Liberal Wokism is pushing for a revitalization of social division based on race. Of course, its proponents will never see it this way.
Nor will they ask a question axiomatic to the phenomenon: where does it stop?
The very same should be asked regarding multicultural policy. At what point will “enough be enough?” Dear Woke Liberals, tell us about your barometer for a circumstance under which satiation is achieved. Satisfied with your success, equality among ethnic communities has been accomplished. A job well done.
Only one problem exists in this regard– it is never going to happen. Such is the nature of Wokism. The goal is not equality. The goal is an inversion of perceived domination.
All these micro-developments contribute to the true intention. How privileged the woke warriors are. Not only do they have academia and media onboard. They have the best backer in the business: Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
As we gather from history, it is one thing to have the general public in the pocket. It is another to have government backing societal transformation.
In terms of systemic prejudice against an identifiable community, we reference an additional piece of weaponry: a program to inculcate the youth. Turns out the woke folk already have this angle covered off.
The report added that the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board will be teaching a new “anti-racist” lesson plan to kids starting in Kindergarten.
According to the Toronto Sun, a program called “Learn.Disrupt.Rebuild” demands that teachers “bring race into the conversation” and teach them that racism is a defining part of our society.
They teach globalist concepts like “white privilege” and “white fragility” while informing children that Canada was built to “serve the interests of white people.” Sounds like an ideal recipe for white children to feel awful about themselves, as well as their family heritage.
What is the purpose in all of this? Seeing as the liberal left are so interested in labels, let us coin one for our communities. We have here the establishment of what can be called a “Second Nations” peoples. As immigration transforms Anglophones into a minority, the outcome will be second class citizen status for our communities.
Thus, an achievement of the unspoken goal. Positioned as an agenda of social equality, the outcome is one of social domination— as best encapsulated by George Orwell in his allegorical tale on communist societies:
“All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.”
