I just read this article by the " Ripley's Believe it or Not ( CBC ) that states China has dropped Canada as a travel destination . It's just a lame attempt to prove that Trudeau has no ties to China. Sad thing is that some people believe what they read.

All the areas of academic (and activist) critique--"patriarchy", "colonialism", "systemic racism", etc...can be seen as fad modes of attack within this larger anti-West war. Yet, what are the roots of this war? There has to be some "reason" for it. Even seen as a passive-aggressive power strategy, there still has to be some inciting cause or rationale. Can we say there is a simple psychological mood underlying it all, that being adolescent anti-authority? This can be extrapolated to anti-PARENTAL authority, which can be further seen as anti-parental-GOD authority. Since the entire West has been built from Abrahamic religions, then the downfall of the West is arguably a destruction of those authoritative religious foundations. Two problems arise. One is Nietzsche's argument that Christianity actually created the mood of "resentment" that has fed what I am calling "anti-authority"--thus Western authority would actually be a form of (or at least be informed by) anti-authority (i.e., against the "authority" what Nietsche claimed was true virtue in some classical Greek sense), and the other is: why hasn't Islam fallen to the mood of anti-authority?
