Anybody But Anglophones: Justin Trudeau’s Quebecois Elitism
After six years of Trudeau, Old Stock Canadians have transitioned to “the people responsible for the hardships of all other peoples.”
Playing favourites is a concept generally reserved for immature minds. While its impact is often benign, it’s a whole other ball game when applied to politics. In this capacity it is a slippery slope. In the history of Canada, no prime minister has played this game like Justin Trudeau. The teams couldn’t be more clearly defined. Unfortunate it is that Canadian media have obscured the nature of this power-play.
From day one, Trudeau has favoured two identifiable sectors of society. The first is his own– the French-Canadian community. Going back to the founding of Canada, Quebecois peoples constitute one of two original settler communities.
The second is comprised of more recent arrivals. These are Canada’s rapidly-growing 3rd World communities– those coming to our shores from foreign nations of the world.
Beyond the two, Mr. Trudeau is not interested. Given the treatment, Canadians of European heritage would be fortunate to find our communities treated with indifference. Instead, Trudeau’s attitude is one of tacit prejudice toward those described as “Old Stock” Canadians.
Fact: In the six-plus years that Justin Trudeau has been prime minister, he has not once made a verbal reference to these communities. Not once has he referenced the terms “Anglophone,” or English Canada.
As far as implicit reference, that’s a whole other story. These folks are alluded to by our PM under one circumstance: when it is time to reference them as racists. In this capacity, Trudeau is not alone. The company he keeps includes NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh, as well as a number of dual citizens within the Liberal Cabinet.
After six years of Justin Trudeau, Old Stock Canadians have taken on a new identity. We have transitioned to “the people responsible for the hardships of all other peoples.”
Is it a natural, organic social development, or is this a pre-conceived agenda of marginalization? Patriots struggle mightily over this one. Then again, how much does it matter? Either by stealth or coincidence, the outcome is the same:
Division, isolation, fragmentation within Canada’s pluralist society. Not as advanced by “people-kind” on the street. But rather by Canada’s controlling institutions– government, media and academia.
Is this a birth of a new social order? What a giant question. Meaning there is no way in Hades it will be addressed by government, media or academia.
If one were to base their conclusion on our prime minister’s behaviour, it should take micro-seconds to recognise his role. Mr. Trudeau has elevated new arrivals to the top of the Canadian food chain. Less obvious– but equally as impactful– is Trudeau’s special treatment of his home province of Quebec.
Serving as a microcosm is the Liberal Cabinet:
Anglophone representation under Trudeau– particularly of the male variety– has been quietly reduced in Cabinet. Mr. Trudeau promised Canadians gender parity in politics. What he didn’t promise was fill up the remainder of the male component with Quebecois MP’s.
Trudeau has always been dedicated to big government. In 2018, he reshuffled cabinet to add 5 new ministry positions, expanding from 30 to 35. In October 2021, he increased Cabinet to 39 members— the largest in history.
In no manner did it reflect an increase in Anglo-Canadian representation. In terms of ethnic identification, the Liberal Cabinet of 2021 has six males of Anglophone extraction, and eight of Quebecois heritage.
According to Wikipedia, 22.8% of Canadians are of French extraction. Male and female Canadians are very close to a 50/50 split. Three-time winner Trudeau has established a Cabinet wildly over-represented by Quebecois Liberals. Extent to which mainstream media have exposed the fact? You guessed it– nothing at all.
Talk about being down on our luck. While Quebec has fussed over cultural retention for the past 50 years, cultural identity for English Canada has never registered on the map. Ex-PM Pierre Trudeau acquiesced big-time. Justin Trudeau couldn’t give a fig. Ours is a non-identity— a condition which the Liberal government swat away like a fly. Or even worse: brand as racist, bigoted and xenophobic.
But for the rest of the multicultural banquet feast? There is no issue of greater importance than cultural advancement. French language retention. The right to wear a Hijab. Sikh turbans and kirpans. Chinese language signage in the minority white riding of Richmond B.C.
Turn around and speak on behalf of Anglophones, and watch the racist fur fly. Western News Watch know about it– because we have done it. All roads lead down a distinct path to the bottom of the barrel: what you are saying is racism. This is without question the biggest cultural injustice within our society. No one in history has perpetuated it like Justin Trudeau.
Beneath media positioning on the Truckers Convoy, we find this dynamic. While CBC, Globe & Mail and Toronto Star busy themselves blaming working class Canadians for the social chaos, undermining Anglophone lingers in the background.
Old Stock Canadians do not exist for the purpose of being trampled under foot by Justin Trudeau. We want our dignity returned. It has been stolen away, and the time has come for pay-back.
The momentum is building. The Truckers Protest has let the horse out-of-the-gate. Social equality was established as a fundamental of society. As opposed to an agenda of woke propaganda driving Anglophone peoples toward second class citizenship status.
Trudeau and the Liberal party are the cancer, that needs to be removed, before it kills us all..!!!!!
Great stuff Brad. Keep it up.
