I have no idea how many viewers or followers The Cultural Action Party of Canada has. But tragically I wonder there are not more comments. Are Canadians complacent or is it ignorance that causes Canadians to bow to authority? Are we a nation of hat tippers? …The hat tipped when acknowledging one betters, like a faggot cutter in a Thomas Hardy novel.
Quebecers are acknowledged haters of various intruders who immigrated to Quebec over the Centuries. The Irish, Scots, and Loyalists are all considered interlopers. Many allowed themselves to be squeezed out of Quebec, choosing to emigrate to one of the other provinces. The premier of Quebec asserts Quebec is a Nation. Yet Trudeau claims nationalism is redundant.
I suppose, once here, every recent immigrant is a Canadian. Still why come here? Trudeau has no idea about the contention sewn by ‘foreign to the existing culture’ immigrants on long settled populations. But that is absurd isn’t it? He has proclaimed himself to be a loyal Quebecer rather than a loyal Canadian. Trudeau is two faced or maybe better said — many faced. A face for all seasons!
Is he sowing contention intentionally, or is he ignorant, or is he stupid? My guess is he is calculatingly and intentionally encouraging policies which benefit Quebec at the expense of Canadians in the other provinces. Well what else is new? That’s the point, what else is new? The question is why have les autres abdicated. Why did politicians not object to the implications of Trudeau père enacting the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Clearly that paved the way for the Supreme Court to ensure the entirety of the Parliamentary bureaucratic precincts was de jure bilingual — but is de facto unilingual French.
And of course people are far more loyal and supportive and responsive to their own kind aren’t they?
