Here's something that I have to comment on, my 2-bits, for what its worth: It seems that you have the idea that 'democracy' is a thing, like a holy or sacred thing that Canadians and maybe Americans paved the way for with our 'constitutions'? I get that its a popular view amongst the throngs of the 'haves' or the 'west', that the collective we, have somehow been the heroes in history, bringing freedom and equality to the world through our virtuous, liberal struggles and actions. 'Democracy' is not a thing in my view. If it is, the only thing it is is an evil scam, perhaps the worst. Canada/USA Inc. was never actually created as a 'democracy' or a 'republic' as patriots love to rattle on about. Rather, its a neo-socialist/communist oligarchy. Even the concept of a democracy is at heart nothing more than totalitarianism since it claims to empower every citizen as a kind of benefactor/despot, which is what the powers that be want everyone to believe, that they have the consensus authority to influence policy, like a nation of little tyrants. Its everything that the vilest forms of socialism/communism ever was, then refined into a modern technologically powered nightmare. Its not real, but people in our society, united in consensus mentality, believe they are on the side of good for society and that they are calling the shots. We know they're not, but they are certainly being convinced that they have this god-like power. Feminism is the inevitable result of women and their children being violently exploited and abused by men. Most women's lives were a hellscape before women's liberation movement was created over a hundred years ago. They were left destitute, had no property or voting rights, were routinely beaten and treated like chattel, had multiple pregnancies, but very little health care, and no reproductive rights, were blocked from higher education and meaningful rewarding work.
Men seek to blame all feminists for today's problems and forget how hard we fought for basic human rights for ourselves so we could take care of our children because men could not be relied upon. All of this is still true today in many parts of the world. Women are being trafficked in the millions into the sex industry, they're being forcefully impregnated in baby farms much like cattle and their babies stolen. I could go on.
So PLEASE stop demonizing feminists for the world's problems. Women are SICK of it. We're facing battles that men are utterly clueless about and much of it is due to male violence and aggression.
