Just re entering Canada they take a digital photo of you, looking at your passport no longer good enough. They want biometric ID so the financial institutions would lose less $$ to scams. It has Nothing to do with protecting us per se but to protect them. Added benefit for the elite is they can track your every move and use it to their advantage, never yours. Enjoy the future, everyone I ask are content in the fact that they won't live long enough to see it get really bad. A sad commentary of the future.

I had to hit the pause on your editorials, because you give us nothing but a sense of fear. Today I prayed and asked God, how God do we stop fear. How? and then here is your article promoting more fear. Yes Digital ID's are maybe, probably, most likely to hit Canada..but are we going to obey? I'm wondering here, with all our 'supposed' privacy laws, how is this going to come to reality. What are the logistics? we have a Privacy Act...The Privacy Act (French: Loi sur la protection des renseignements personnels) is the federal information-privacy legislation of Canada that came into effect on July 1, 1983. Administered by the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, the Act sets out rules for how institutions of …of the Government of Canada collect, use, disclose, retain, and dispose of personal information of individuals. Citation: R.S.C., 1985, c. P-21

Territorial extent: Canada

Enacted by: 32nd Canadian Parliament

Commenced: July 1, 1983

Administered by: Privacy Commissioner of Canada

Bill: Bill C-43

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) provides a right of access to records held by public bodies and regulates how public bodies manage personal information. FIPPA also provides an independent review process for people who disagree with access and privacy decisions made by public bodies under the Act.

how they will go around these governing bodies, I'm very interested in finding, out.. so ya Mr. Trudeau can sing out of his arse, in so many ways, but let us see how this will happen.

And second of all, we are very paranoid Canadians, and we stand behind our 'privacy'....I worked in offices that we had monthly IF NOT weekly meetings on adherence and STRICT policies that GUARDED THE PRIVACY OF OUR EMPLOYEES..

So I really hope you stop the fear mongering, as I went shopping this morning, a lady with two masks on, I said to her, I feel really awful you live in fear, she said she can't help it, and its people like you that keep the fear going.. Why don't you offer solutions, to Canadians, they seem to believe everything.
