The most curious thing, despite it being entirely understandable; the people whom are hurt the most keep voting against their own self interest.
Democracy as practiced is a farce; where do these cabinet ministers come from? Where did Trudeau Jr come from. There are no grass roots candidates. It is propaganda, that grass roots candidates, would not understand government. That is a deceptive notion if ever there was one. …As though only incompetent knuckle walkers would seek election. Actually an open candidate process would no doubt draw out the best and the brightest. Instead of candidates being selected by the party we would get candidates who were not ideologically wedded to certain outcomes a priori. If Canadians would do some real homework and turn off the radio and TV they may end up with a truly representative candidate; with Canadians’ interests in mind. But these parachute drop candidates do not have Canadians interests in mind at all.
Thanks, Brad, for highlighting the un-Canadian politicians voted and not voted, it's starting to show light of tyranny, we should have a bill put in place to allow 100% Canadian run politicians and any person in authority to be 100% Canadian so there's no discrimination when they get the boot
