Multiculturism, is basically a means to divide us. If Canada had adopted the same idea to solidify a nation. Which meant leaving your culture, keeping in your home. But when you are at school, at work , in the community your loyality is that of Canada. And how this should of happened , it should of happened in School, you see America has it right..you pledge your allegiance to the flag, you instill a community connection as one. To this new country, you identify with it and its culture and take up the history of Canada, like a fine butter tart. America was and still is a prime example of instilling a loyality to their country, even thou it is also facing a divide. But Canada was worse, you came here, and signs of the streets quickly converted to the new immigrants, when in fact they should of adapted, not the other way around. Your newcomers should be handed A BILL OF RIGHTS, and a deep love of our Founding Fathers, and the history. There is a very big loyalist community in Niagara, was that ever taught?? nope.. When we came to Canada, in 1968...I felt Canadian..but seems, like Trudeau became that evil man from Its' a Wonderful Life, Pottersville...changing everything..and now we are faced with the change of very core of Canadian culture.. streets are going to be changed...This is going to be such a delusion to who Canada was. Americans had it right, adapt and be loyal , you see their flags everywhere. You see their culture..in Utah they have an ice cream shop called Founding Fathers, and the staff actually dress up in that time period, heck, you can get a large amount of ice cream in a Liberty Bell... Canada TAKE NOTE!
