Criminal Code of Canada: Sections 318 and 319 of the Criminal Code make it a criminal offence to advocate genocide, publicly incite hatred, and willfully promote hatred against an “identifiable group.” An identifiable group is defined as any section of the public distinguished by colour, race, religion, national or ethnic origin, age, sex, sexual orientation or mental or physical disability.
On the news yesterday, it was reported that the judge in the case of the Syrian immigrant accused of raping and murdering the young Asian teenager in a Burnaby, BC park, told the jury that they had to disregard any evidence given by the doctor that died suddenly the evening after she testified for the prosecution in court. Because she was not finished testifying and the defense was unable to cross examine, none of her testimony is considered admissible. No other information was reported on the news as to how this impacts the case going forward. But the police have “assured” the public, there was no foul play involved? So we are to believe it was just an unfortunate “coincidence”?
I can't find any info anywhere about an investigation into the doctor's death(conveniently murdered??????) Have we reached the point in this country where we snuff out our own upstanding citizens to protect criminal immigrants who like in this case are indeniably guilty?If that's the case then we are a lot more far gone than I realized.God help us all.
I have no information that the doctor was murdered in order to protect the defendant in this case. It seems awfully coincidental. My own opinion is that the defendant is guilty based on what has been publicized. In today's media, the other option is that this doctor died "suddenly" with no safety risks to the public (the reason is never disclosed, yet we can all speculate as to what caused this). The "coincidence" of this happening right after her first day of testimony, is very unusual.
It is really hard to digest that this is the level that Canada has sunk to. Trudeau lied when he promised the most transparent govt ever as we are now living with the exact opposite.

No. Our gov't gifts billions of our tax dollars to foreign countries. Do Canadians have any say in that? No. We don't live in a true democracy. Our political system needs to be overhauled to reflect what the citizens want, not what a handle of bureaucrats dictate. Unless the system is changed, nothing will change.
