I'm not from Alberta but Trudeau's war on them, and the oil and gas sector in CAD just enrages me. Because I know his cap on the oil and gas sector in CAD is not supported by most Canadians. The fact that Trudeau just does what he pleases, and those actions generally run against what the CAD people want, pisses me off to no end. He works for the CAD people. Not for his own agenda. He is rogue. It's like having someone who walks into my home and decides to start running the show in my house. AND I CAN'T GET RID OF HIM!!!

Has anyone ever asked JT why he has such a deep visceral hatred for Western Canada and our resources? Why does he hate Canada?

This column says, possibly between the lines, that Turd & by extension French Canadian politicians are Quebecers first & Canadian dead last. This why they should never again become Prime Minister. Quebec needs to be expelled from Canada ASAP!

Werpor's lengthy "essay" was informative and necessary--no apology needed for its length. There was a lot in it that even I didn't know that needs to get out to every English-speaking Canadian and to Trump Republicans.

One takeaway from werpur's post is that the Laurentian Elite is a multi-generation cabal of traitors.

Turd;s hatred of Anglophones derives from the fact that the corrupt unchristian Catholic church in Quebec taught hatred of the English from the time of the conquest in 1759 up to the 1960.s Quiet Revolution after which the Quebec gov't assumed that role.

We can only hope that Trudeau visits Saudi Arabia, gets high or drunk in public and is sentenced to the harshest punishment. My preference are those raised truck cranes for visual, head in one bag, body in another.

Apologies. I posted a long “essay” in two parts. I ought to have used two thumbs instead of three — consequently the two parts got scrambled. I decided not to repost a corrected.version in case it got worse — long essays are discouraging enough without adding a fixed version for readers here to sort out. Again, apologies. I would have made use of an edit button had one existed or cancelled the post altogether.

The Laurentian elite handle is derivative. First there was a Lower Canadian elite, controlled by the landed elite; the Catholic Church and the Seigneurial class. Formerly almost all the trade to the heart of the continent was transported through the St Lawrence valley lowlands. From there trade goods made their way by water into the Great Lakes then down various rivers into the heartland of America. necessary to seek an arrangement with their neighbours in British Canada. Why? Lenders demand security. So an entire country was created so that Lower Canada could dominate what was remained of New France. French Canadian elites hated the idea of joining together in a union which promised to dilute the power they formerly had any further. What the Lower Canadian elites settled on was a federation. …A different animal than a Confederation, despite being called a Confederation. The initiative was not John A. Macdonalds. It was primarily an initiative of the Lower Canadian elite. The arrangement meant lenders would lend. There was problems. The Métis in Manitoba had other ideas. And the native people were in the way. History records the solution. You never think though, given the conventional rhetoric, that Quebecers had anything to do with the solutions. As Lower Canadians in the years before Confederation they worked diplomatically with England but calculatingly to secure their continuing dominance over what remained of New France. The Laurentian Elite are the same people as their forefathers. Nothing is enabled in Canada which would threaten the power of the Laurentian Elite. The last and most clever arrangement was the Repatriation scheme. But the Charter of Rights and Freedom was the true aim of the elite Quebecers. The Charter restored powers lost over the years of constant change which had gradually been diluted since the Fall of New France and since Confederation. Bilingualism and to a lesser extent biculturalism could not have passed Parliament but the Charter of Rights and Freedoms was the iron fist in the velvet glove. The Charter of Rights and Freedoms was in effect, i.e. de facto, a Constitutional Amendment. After Repatriation Quebec refused to sign the Constitution as they promised. Canadians were betrayed. Jean Charest is a Quebecer, rather than a Canadian as was true of Pierre E Trudeau. In fact the Canadian Government is controlled by bilingual Quebecers. If the Western Provinces succeed in establishing strong economies people will be attracted to move there. This would mean an increase of seats in Canada’s Parliament for the western provinces. And of course explains the remove of parliamentary influence to the PMOs office. Justin Trudeau is Pierre Trudeau’s son. Canada is a country divided — intentionally. Why else make peace with foreign interests? Why else prevent the west from exploiting its resources? Now you have the answer! If Canadians outside Quebec truly understood their history the future may turn out differently. The Laurentian elite spend almost every moment working to sabotage any kind of economic success in the rest of Canada. Why? It threatens Quebec!
