When Pierre Elliott TrueDope introduced the current Constitution in 1982, he promised that the Charter of Rghts and Freedoms would not be modified without amendment, which required a certain formal process. Needless to say, that's Charter has never been modified by Canadians, only by politicians. The problem is not Trudeau. It's the urban dwelling electorate. Come here to BC and go to Vancouver. The city has been deteriorating for the last 10 years and the residents there welcome it. The solution is no longer just political. You will need some combination of local/provincial/federal political changes, as well as people making changes to their spending habits to reduce the government's ability to raise tax revenue. I very strongly support the 2K terminated BC nurses moving to Alberta as this province has lost its mind
