So, this is what is funny, I went to Niagara, and went to visit, Laura's Secords home(she was Ingersoll) and the description about Laura Secord, was one a patriot, she was an American, married a Canadian..a strong women whom went 30 miles out of her way to save Canada from the American attack on our land. Where is this history, look at the beauty of this story!! where do these so called Liberals take their pewtred attidutes and ungrateful love of Canada. This woman was BOLD...and she save Canada..if it wasn't for her, well we would be American...maybe that would of not been a bad thing. But Canada is unique has a bold British identity, and a Christian one at that. I was bold, I bought a bought about 'colonization'...its not a bad story, colony means a community...and a community that looked after itself. One that worked together, built their homes, their churches, their printing press, their stores..and Yet we are told colonization is bad, Yes they had some slaves, but in this book and I'm sure this is neglected on purpose, the persons whom had 'slaves'...which I would like to turn that language into 'domestic managers'.. they were treated with kindness.. The community, included them and often times at Christmas gave them gifts. ...These people that tear apart Canada, MAYBE research...love Canada, go to Niagara, full of our History, BEAUTIFUL history.. of GOOD people...and what I am feeling is that all this negativity comes from the hate of colonizers..because they were Christian people! in fact that is what this book says. Colony, community, Christians..which right now is the flavour of hate.. and read up on Laura Secord....she was a colonizer but she walked to save Canada, where are those that want to save Canada.
