It will be enforced on their ppl here and you know what? he is allowing Chinese police here in Canada which is illegal for so many reasons, so maybe he will allow Iran’s lawmen here too. I hope none of it could be true, but he never does anything without benefit to him. Why blame Canadians? They are hardly what used to be called educated. Universities are not anything new. Ancestors of mine attended Leyden University during the time of Bloody Mary — at one time Queen of England. Leyden was not anything like university is nowadays. People attended because they were self driven and curious.
Unlike today, where students seeking a route to a job, i.e. paid employment, eventually in a narrow field of endeavour — at one time, universities sought to enlighten; not brainwash. School today is a control mechanism. Imagine the consequences for the young, sitting at desks for 20 or more years. They have all kinds of beliefs pounded into their heads. School is a giant gulag; a concentration camp. Real enquiry is verboten. The teachers, themselves once students received the same bollox they now promulgate. How can they be expected to answer inquiries put to them they haven’t been taught? Real teaching ought to offer their students a way out of the gulag but instead ensure they cannot escape.
Rote learning — which should include learning the times tables, grammar, spelling, composition, writing, the table of elements, arithmetic, music basics — should begin when children are four years old and continue until about age eight. Nothing else should be taught by rote. Rote is demanding. But it provides a foundation.
Everything else taught by rote is propaganda; especially ideologies. Properly taught children learn to respect; especially themselves. Especially if they are respected!
Respect cannot be taught. It can only be absorbed. This is not brainwashing. It is method. Children are not societies chattels, they are the future of society. An educated population would not have elected Justin Trudeau.
He was thrown out of a school. He violated a child. This is common enough public knowledge. Yet the Liberal party backed his ascension! We have a crude parvenu for a Prime Minister.
