Canada has been passing from a constitutional state to a totalitarian one at a fast pace since 1972. References to Communism aren't helpful. Communism ended in early 1990s. Mass society has produced managerial elites (Burnham) to run the public and private sector by the time of the New Deal. Capitalism was basically dead by WWII. This technocratic managerial therapeutic state (Gottfried, After Liberalism) identifies problems then expands its power to manage them (Jouvenal) constantly expanding its bureaucracy. These problems are never fixed, but worsened requiring more bureaucracy and control. Look at poverty, drugs, homophobia, racism, islamophobia, patriarchy, anti-semitism, Covid, Climate Change....Ukraine... all are problems introduced as fear campaigns designed to expand totalitarian control. So forget the neo con nonsense about communism, capitalism, liberalism... hey, let's join hands with Jordan Petersen and go back to the 50s. We need to correctly identify the problem to oppose and beat it.
I really don’t care what anyone calls it, communism, fascism, socialism, whatever anyone can come up with, the fact is we have a dictator running Canada and we need to come up with a plan to get him out before the country implodes.

NZ will follow suit soon enough mate. Ardern was leader of International Socialist Youth before becoming our PM, but ok must be fascism lol. Nothing fascist about the climate scam agenda and bioleninism is rampantly being pushed in the areas of gender and race at every opportunity by these "fascist" elites lol. Fascism was a reaction to the threat of International Communism, it was defending the culture along ethnic lines, the Bolsheviks goal was to tear down traditional cultures and build the new man for their global utopia.
Until more people realize that unless they understand whom they are who have the power to influence public policy, how influencing public policy is done, what the public policies are intended to achieve, confusion will reign. The confusion is intentionally seeded to deflect attention from whom, the how, and the what.
The public, for the most believe many things.
But believing is not the same as thinking. Believers’ assumes things, as far as believers’ are concerned, are settled. Believers’ have closed minds.
Thinkers’ never believe. Believers never think.
Thinkers’ assume there are many things they cannot know. Believers’ are reactionaries. Believers’ are easily manipulated. Tragically, they never figure out they are being used by powerful interests, among whom are professional manipulators of our beliefs and who understand the nature of belief. Belief is emotional. Emotions are easily hijacked!
Powerful people hire professional propagandists who know things about the mind, both the individual mind and the hive mind i.e., the collective mind, emotional people do not imagine. Why? Because emotions are easily hijacked by rhetoric constructed to intentionally shape their beliefs, i.e., their reality.
Those reading this ought to Google Edward Bernays. He described the masses as irrational and subject to herd instinct — and he outlined how skilled practitioners could use crowd psychology and psychology to control them in desired ways.
If readers here take the time to read the entirety of the Wikipedia page about Edward Bernays they would at least find the evidence of the extent of his influence.
Understanding the extent to which you are manipulated is only the first step. The next step is to begin to question what you believe and what you think. In fact your beliefs and your thoughts are not yours! Your thoughts think you. And your emotions feel for you.
It is hard work to intercede on your own behalf. Powerful interests do not want you thinking for yourself. And they certainly do not want you to stop believing in their emotionally loaded propaganda.

Bill C-11 pushes Canada closer to Civil War. A short while ago I saw that as a possibility but it now seems more likely than not. Trudeau doubled down when he should have backed off. There is nothing, absolutely nothing in the short term that will improve things.
