The decision by the Waterloo Region District School Board to host a career fair restricted to non-white people is exclusionary and concerning. Segregation by race and ethnicity is a harmful practice that has been rightfully condemned for decades. It is disappointing to see this kind of action being taken in Canada in 2023.
