The Disgrace That Is Foreign Aid Sent To Middle Eastern Nations
"Canada will continue to follow into the trap, where foreign aid transfers money from poor people in rich countries to rich people in poor countries.”
Did you hear the one about the King of Jordan spending $800 million in foreign aid on luxury international real estate?
Unfortunately, it isn't a joke. Nor should any common sense citizen find it funny. The Canadian government’s annual donations of foreign aid to so-called "developing countries" is one of the most overlooked issues in society.
An archaic, financially-draining waste of money it is. Multiple reports speak of the waste emanating from Global Affairs Canada's green light to send approximately $7 billion dollars to 3rd World nations each year.
From a Canadian Taxpayer Federation report: “The best example of the failures of foreign aid spending is Haiti."
"With a population of eight million, it has received $1 billion in Canadian government funding since 2006. This cycle of dependency on foreign aid goes back decades. Yet the country remains the poorest in the Americas and one of the worst governed places on earth.”
If Canadian media are downplaying the charade that is foreign aid, then 40 million citizens are bereft of understanding one key component. Middle Eastern nations and their theocratic governments are receiving the bulk of the tax-payer extracted donations.
“A lot of government money – $5.7 Billion – gets spent on foreign aid every year. Otherwise, Canada will continue to follow into the old trap, where foreign aid transfers money from poor people in rich countries, to rich people in poor countries.”
See the King of Jordan and his Canadian tax-payer funded luxury apartments. Standing at the pinnacle, Afghanistan receives $200 million every year.
“Billions In Aid To Afghanistan Wasted, Including Money from Canada”
“Billions of dollars in Western foreign aid to Afghanistan, including from Canada, has been lost to widespread waste, lax oversight and endemic corruption, lax oversight, and endemic corruption,” states a U.S. watchdog agency.
Why do Canadians put up with this? Based on our current economic climate, shouldn't a comprehensive financial review take place, with appropriate changes made?
It never happens. One reason being that Canadians have never pushed-back against the phenomenon. Why would this be? Simple as Nova Scotia apple pie-- because they don't know about. Why? Because media in Canada never speak of it.
Seeing as this is case, a giant piece of the foreign aid puzzle goes undetected: the main beneficiaries happen to be Middle Eastern/African nations.
Try this on for size, Canadian patriots. Foreign Aid disbursaries, 2021
Afghanistan, $178 million; Ethiopia, $140, Lebanon, $122; Bangladesh, $193; Sudan, $182; Congo, $168; Pakistan, $127; Iraq, $108; Syria, $98; Jordan, $97; Nigeria, $71; Yemen, $53, Somalia, $52 million.
Frequency, you ask? That would be every year, for decades. In 2015, upon election as prime minister, Justin Trudeau gave a green light to increase the amount for every country on the list.
As reported by CBC. Not.
If Canadians understood how 40 million taxpayers are getting fleeced by Canada's foreign aid industry, how would they react? Poorly, to be certain. The very reason why the Liberal government instruct CTV, Globe & Mail and the rest to stay clear of communicating these facts to the citizens of our country.
Now, along comes a major Canadian political figure who is questioning the sanity of our foreign giveaway programs:
“Poilievre Promises Review Of Foreign Aid To Prevent Money From Financing Terrorists”
Holy Crow. PM Trudeau won't like this very much, nor will legacy media. You see, these types want the status quo to remain in place. To hell with Canadians living in the streets of our largest cities.
All this malarky is just what the woke warrior doctor ordered. The post-modern mantra of our Liberal government being "we work for other countries before we work for the Canadian-born, and if you don't like it, you are a racist."
Bollocks to this. A self-defeating dynamic it is. Then again, Justin Trudeau is out to decimate "traditional" Canada and everything it represents, so it makes good sense.
“One of my first actions as prime minister will be to carry out a full review of every dollar we send out of this country to make sure that we stop giving money to terrorists, dictators, and useless Marxist international bureaucracies," stated Pierre Poilievre in a recent National Post article.
After which Cultural Action Party offer him some advice: watch your back, buddy boy, them's fighting words.
And who would qualify for those opposed to a common sense edit offered by the Conservative Party leader?
United Nations, World Health Organization, World Economic Forum, China, Iran, Pakistan, Liberal Party of Canada, New Democratic Party of Canada, Justin Trudeau, Jagmeet Singh, Klaus Schwab, George Soros, King of Jordan, and his real estate agent.
See what we're up against. These are the true controllers of Canada under the faux-leadership of Justin Trudeau and his motley crue of globalist Liberal politicians.
Media say nothing. Whether financially or ideologically motivated, they're in on the cover-up.
A sad tale of economic, cultural and national degradation it is. Then again, Justin Trudeau wouldn't have it any other way.
Thanks for addressing this subject Mr. Satzberg, so much of this aid ends up in the pockets of the wrong people. Trudeau is known to have his priorities, foreign aid before looking after your own citizens all for that recognition he craves and a feather in his cap, it is a disgrace and I hope will be revised by Poilevere.
Brad.
