I have been thinking the same thing, do we move to Alberta while the Province remains mostly white or do we make the big move to Mexico or Costa Rica we both understand Spanish so either one is good and we lived in mexico for 4 years in the late 1900,s and traveled widely throughout that country. My daughter favors Mexico and my son Costa Rica and both given the present climate in Canada are thinking of going also.

The central bank charts certain important numbers. Working from a base set of ratios they measure changes in the economy that they have induced a priori — increase in the money supply say. If at the same time interest rates are made more favourable by lowering them to almost zero and by keeping track of housing starts, and the demographics attendant to births and deaths, they can predict the demand cycle. Of course the commercial banks open the flood gates — you’ll notice the advertising targeting consumers. This is the bait stage! Consumers load up on debt thus driving up demand for the known supply of housing. Millions of people, behaving herd like, chase the prices as they increase. At some point the demand is saturated — all the income available to devote to mortgages is committed. Of course bankers measure these things. Hundreds of millions of dollars are now committed to servicing mortgages for houses consumers were compelled to buy. The next step is ruthless. Governments borrow billions as well. None of this of course does not happen accidentally. It happens intentionally. Most politicians do not have a clue about the power of bankers and money. Governments are only the visible proxies whom we elect and imagine run the economy — while there are agents of change with power to compel government to effect policies or with the power to withhold policies whom are invisible.
Now the ruthless and invisible agents do their thing! These things are made to happen while the average person attributes them to events which seem to be outside of anyone’s control,
Interest rates slowly begin to climb. And are pushed up to the limit. The limit has been carefully calculated in advance. It is not only governments that keep statistics. Bankers have those same statistics and an entire set which enable them to track when the saturation point is reached — then interests rates may reverse for a month or so.
As those rates rise more and more money flows into the banks every month. This puts pressure on the government and on consumers. Governments at the same time increase taxes and cut back services. …Discretionary incomes decrease. Here it is important to understand that for banks your debt is their asset. This is true for any loan whether for consumers or for governments.
There are laws which prevent borrowed from walking away from debt. In the U.S. borrowers simply toss the keys on the bank managers desk. They lose their equity! But are free to borrow money to buy a cheaper house. In Canada you cannot walk away from your commitment. Even if you do walk away and lose your equity you are still on the hook for any diminishment of the gross asset value. If the bank cannot recover its asset when “your”former house is sold, you are responsible to pay the outstanding diminishment in the asset.
If you are following along you’ll understand that both the banks and the government control all of us ordinary citizens. You and I have no control whatsoever over the actions of government. All the processes transfer a steady flow of assets into the hands of an oligarchy. Think about it. All the debts one hears governments and bankers droning on about are assets for the lenders. That would be to the 1% — those billions though, are not recycled into the economy other than to keep the entire Ponzi scheme afloat. Governments, when they are hijacked serve corporations and bankers and the 1% who make the rules!
