I have notices a disturbing trend in Canada , seems that mayors of large cities are electing Liberals even in Conservative provinces. There must be illegal activities surrounding these elections but we not hear any complaints from opposition parties. Not a peep from the news media. My neighbor and family are leaving Canada with their young children, both are teachers , very sad.

I think the solution is to pay taxes to a different type of school board that best qualifies your child for the best mature, responsible and well educated system. It's kind of like a business of competition and not like a monopoly it seems now, run by a you call it as you want government. One of the worst changes was introduced by a PC Premier - Harris. He changed the school system of Ontario very substantially. Until then, the MOEd set the various standards, especially the passages from elementary to high school and the graduation standard from high school. BUT, school funding was based on school taxes paid, through the municipality to the school board. This system allowed a diversity of opinions to flourish. With full control of all aspects of schooling going to the province, subsequent provincial governments introduced strange courses, instead of providing a solid scholastic basis for the current students.
It's the perfect time for the USA to take over Canada, Canadians wouldn't even resist and the rest of the World wouldn't come to the aid of trudeau. The European Union would probably supply the rope when trudeau is hanged for Crimes Against Humanity.
