Unless Western Provinces demand and take the same status and self governance as Quebec, I am afraid the collapse of Canada into a French controlled dictatorship is in the cards. Our only possibility of saving even a reduced version of what Canada used to be is the Western Provinces joining to become a Western Republic. Democracy, free speech. small Government representing all, and enabling industry and businesses to do what they do well without Government interference. Trudeau said he saw no business case for selling $3 trillion worth of natural gas to Germany. They would not have been the only customer. If that wasn't a business case, Line 5 is even worse. Line 5 should simply be shut down. It is useless and a horrible environmental disaster that will happen.

Doug FordNation has done absolutely zero for Ontario. Pierre needs to take Ford aside and ask which party he supports. It’s becoming more apparent every day that we need the western provinces to separate. Unfortunately in BC the LowerMainland and most of Vancouver Island is under the Liberal/NDP spell. I would move to Alberta to be able to get away from all of this - though I would miss my home and friends. That is how unbearable the tyrannical policies are.
